The North East Firemen's Cherry Festival vendor committee has begun it's search for vendors for the 2012 Cherry Festival. The committee is looking for food vendors and merchandise vendors. Vendor applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Applicants will be notified by the committee of it's decision regarding the application. Some "friendly reminders" are posted below for each type of vendor.

Food Vendors

1. You need to submit a menu. We encourage you to submit a menu with all the items you intend to sell. Be advised, that the Cherry Festival reserves the right to restrict sale of certain food items. Therefore, you may be approved, but with restrictions.

2. You will need to sign a contract. The contract is in place to reduce on "no-shows" at the festival. Because of the limited space, we do not want to have "no-shows" as they are difficult to fill.

3. You may be put on a waiting list. If we have filled all food vendor spaces, you may be asked to go on a waiting list. The committee will explain that to you if that is the case.

4. You need to remain on the grounds all week. We DO NOT do "partial week". Failure to be able to meet the commitment could result in loss of future application acceptance.

5. You will need to obtain an Erie County Department of Health license. This will be explained to you by the committee.

Merchandise Vendors:

1. You need to submit a listing of items you intend to sell. The Cherry Festival reserves the right to restrict sale of certain items.

2. You will need to sign a contract. The contract is in place to discourage "no-shows".

3. You may be put on a waiting list. This will be explained to you if this scenario arrises.

4. You need to remain on the grounds all week. We DO NOT do "partial week", you will need to be present an open all days of the festival. Failure to be able to do so may cancel an application.

5. You may be asked, throughout the week, to remove an item that has become "problematic" or "inappropriate". Items of this nature are things such as "stink bombs", "poppers", etc...
