The 65th annual North East Firemen's Cherry Festival Parade will take place on Saturday, July 16th, 2010 at 4pm on Main Street in North East. The parade is known as one of the "largest firemen's parades in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania." Spectators begin lining up their lawn chairs right after Picnic in the Park on Thursday afternoon (per Borough Ordinance), and are known to tie chairs to any form of a permanent object to reserve the best seat in the house for the parade. Whether you view the parade from the west where all the vehicles start by Mill Street or right in the center of town at Gibson Park, every seat is a great one.

The parade committee is always looking for more units and performing acts to be in the parade, and welcome any and all registrations by e-mailing the committee, by clicking here.
